IHM Lenten Speaker Series 2025

I Believe… 224 words that proclaim who we are.

When we recite the Creed at Mass, we proclaim our identity as Catholic Christians, our relationship with God, and our unity as his children—in just 224 carefully chosen words. Join us in IHM church following Stations of the Cross on Fridays during Lent from 7:30 - 8:45 pm as we break open these 224 words through prayer, video presentations, reflection, and group discussion.

Lenten Series at St. John Fisher

The St. Gregory the Great family community is invited to the Lenten Series programs at St. John Fisher on Tuesday, March 11th, Tuesday, March 18th, and Thursday, March 27th:

Tuesday, March 11th at 7:00 pm in Resurrection Room

Deacon Russ Feldkamp explores our identity in Christ

Why is it so hard for us to see the greatness that God sees within us, and to really believe He loves us? Living a dynamic life of discipleship flows out of our identity as beloved sons and daughters of God. This identity as a child of God allows us to use all the family gifts to build up the body of Christ. Russ will explore how our identity is related to healing and we will be able to pray for one another in Jesus’ name to bring about healing and wholeness.

Tuesday, March 18th at 7:00 pm in Resurrection Room

Deacon Russ Feldkamp explores how God communicates to us and how we can hear the voice of God

Did you know that God longs to communicate with us and through us? Understanding the relationship our loving God wants to have with His sons and daughters allows us to hear His call. He strongly desires to reveal His heart to us and when we learn to hear Him, we can respond generously and boldly. We will practice hearing Jesus through the Holy Spirit and speaking words of life to our neighbor. Our generous response allows us to make disciples and bring about the kingdom of God.

Thursday, March 27th at 7:00 pm at St. John Fisher Church

Taizé Prayer Service

Prayer in the spirit of the Taizé Community is a meditative form of common prayer. Gathered in the presence of Christ we sing uncomplicated, repetitive songs, uncluttered by too many words, allowing the mystery of God to become tangible through the beauty of simplicity. A few words sung over and over again reinforce the meditative quality of prayer. They express a basic reality of faith that can quickly be grasped by the intellect and gradually penetrates the whole being.

Family of Parishes Holy Hour of Prayer

You are invited to come together with others in our St. Gregory the Great family of parishes on Tuesday's at IHM Church for an evening of Holy Hour Prayer, with exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, Vespers and Rosary prayers.  The prayer service begins at 7pm.

Women’s Wednesday: Stations of the Cross through Eyes of Mary at IHM
