IHM Parish has launched an ambitious fundraising campaign to ensure that every family in our parish who desires an education for their child through our Parish grade school will be able to afford that choice.
Parishioners Lois and Denny Doyle have stepped forward to provide the leadership for our Endowment Seedling Tuition Program, committing $100,000 to kick off this parish effort.
We are hoping to find another donor(s) who will pledge $100,000 so we can continue to take advantage of the $100,000 match. We are looking for families to donate a named scholarship of $10,000. Then the Doyles will match $5,000 and the other donor(s) will match $5,000, so we will begin with a $20,000 named scholarship. Our goal is to create 20 named scholarships.
Anyone can donate to the Endowment Fund, no matter what amount they wish, or they can add to any named scholarship if they choose. It is only for a named scholarship that $10,000 is requested. Gifts are permanently endowed, and the income from the investment will be used for tuition assistance. Funds will be invested in notes with the Archdiocese of Cincinnati and the income will be used for tuition assistance following the first whole fiscal year of earnings.
