Marian Consecration
Start Date: 8/10

Join us from August 10 to September 11 for a personal Do-It-Yourself Retreat in preparation for our parish reconsecration to Mary September 12th & 13th.


 MaryThis retreat is based on the popular book by Fr. Michael Gaitley, MIC, 33 Days to Morning Glory.  It will include daily reflections and prayer focusing on the great Marian saints so we can draw closer to the heart of Jesus through the heart of Mary.

Canned Food Drive

Start Date: 8/15


On the weekend of August 15 & 16, IHM Social Action Commission will be coordinating a canned food drive for the SEM Food Pantry and Inter Parish Ministries (IPM). All donations will be accepted outside of the church building and nothing will be brought inside.
We need your help!
It has been requested that we donate the following items!
Canned Meats
(tuna, chicken, beef stew, chili, ravioli, etc.)
Canned Vegetables
Canned Soup
Canned Beans

Fill The Pantry
The SEM Food Pantry will be moving from its location on the IHM campus to a newly remodeled facility in Mt. Washington. Help us fill their pantry!
Inter Parish Ministries Mobile Pop-Up-Pantry
IHM is hosting a Mobile Pop-Up Pantry in conjunction with the Free Store Food Bank and Inter Parish Ministries from 10AM to 12PM on Saturday, 8/22. Canned goods collected through our drive will be paired with perishable items from the Free Store Food Bank to provide in the mobile pantry and donations from three other area churches to provide in the mobile pantry.
Volunteers are needed to collect canned goods, pack boxes or help distribute! We are focused on the health and safety of all who participate in this event. Wearing a mask and social distancing is required.
Canned Food Drive Collection Volunteers (Weekend of 8/15 & 8/16)
  • Accept donations from parishioners before and after Masses. At the end of Mass we will move the food to a designated location.
  • On the 16th, we will sort the food and transport to the SEM pantry. It will be helpful to have volunteers with pick-up trucks.  
  • We will hold the food for IPM until Friday, August 21.
Mobile Pop-Up Pantry Volunteers (Weekend of 8/21 & 8/22)
  • 8/21 from 4-6PM - Volunteers to pack boxes
  • 8/22 from 7:30AM to 10AM - Volunteers to help sort and pack the perishable donations
  • 8/22 from 9:45 to Noon - Volunteers to distribute produce and groceries to clients
  • 8/22 Noon - Volunteers to tear down and collect remaining food
