Description
Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish is seeking a faith-filled, skilled and dedicated person to serve as Parish Nurse. The successful candidate will be an experienced medical professional with an active RN license who will continue the great tradition of ministry to God’s people so superbly established by previous nurses in this position. This Director level position reports directly to and works with the Pastor.
This multi-faceted leadership position integrates pastoral care and nursing/medical skills into the promotion of spiritual and physical health and wellness for the IHM Parish.
This person coordinates the 18 Health Ministry programs which directly and indirectly support spiritual and physical health and wellness services to our 3400 families. One foremost responsibility is our Bereavement Ministry in which our Parish Nurse serves as the primary contact for families dealing with death and funeral planning.
