IHM Boosters Fish Fry

Every Friday during Lent!

4:30-7:00 p.m. in the Cafeteria

$12.00 Adults

$12.00 Shrimp Caesar Salad

$11.00 Seniors, $9.00 Children

 

The menu includes baked & fried fish, fish tacos, shrimp Caesar salad, fries, hush puppies, pizza, macaroni & cheese, side salads, coleslaw, applesauce and desserts.

 

After the fish fry, you are invited to join in an evening of reflection and prayer:

Rosary at 6:25 p.m., Stations of the Cross at 7:00 p.m., Speaker Series at 7:30-8:30 p.m.

Please join us Friday evenings in Lent in the Church to pray the rosary at 6:25 pm, Stations of the Cross at 7:00 pm, and the following speakers from 7:30 pm-8:30 pm.

Lenten Series at St. John Fisher

 

"Striving for Holiness: Tips & Tricks From the Saints

Ash Wednesday begins the Lenten Season, which this year is February 14th.  Similar to previous years, St. John Fisher will be offering our parish family a weekly opportunity on Tuesday evenings to journey through Lent together as a community.  (Please note there is no series event during Holy Week.)

 

Each series event will begin at 7:00 pm in Pater Hall at St. John Fisher (exceptions noted below); the speaker presentations will include time for questions and answers.  Each event is not a prerequisite for the next, so please join us for just one, all of them, or any number in between!  There is no charge for any of the events and registration is not required.

Tuesday, February 27:  Fr. David Endres - "Lessons for Lent from St. Anthony of the Desert"

Tuesday, March 5:  Taizé Prayer Service in church at St. John Fisher

Tuesday, March 12:  Lenten Penance Service for the St. Gregory the Great Family at IHM

Tuesday, March 19:  Fr. David Doseck - "St. Ignatius & Rules for Discernment"

Family of Parishes Holy Hour of Prayer

You are invited to come together with others in our St. Gregory the Great family of parishes on Monday's at IHM Church for an evening of Holy Hour Prayer, with exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, Vespers and Rosary prayers.  The prayer service begins at 7pm.  

Justfaith Lenten Series: Faith & Poverty the Solidarity Response 

Offered by the Social Action Commission

SACC will be offering its annual Lenten series beginning Feb. 21-March 20 in either St. Matthew’s or Blessed Mother Room.  Jane Phelan and Marie Hill will be facilitating the Justfaith module, Faith and Poverty the Solidarity Response.  To register, contact Sue Keefe, 513-706-2789 [email protected] for instructions.  The two books for the course, Beyond Empowerment and Evicted:  Poverty and Profit in the American City will be $31.00. 

 

Women’s Wednesday Stations of the Cross through the Eyes of Mary

The Women’s Wednesday team invites all women in our family of parishes to attend the Stations of the Cross through the Eyes of Mary on Wednesday, February 21st, at 7 pm, in the IHM church. We will pray the Stations of the Cross reflecting on them through the perspective of Mary. This will be a memorable evening and one that will help guide you through Lent.
