The IHM 2017 Winter Gala Committee, co-chaired by Nickie White and Lisa Riccardi, hosted over 200 parishioners and guests. Money was raised for the youth of our parish, including a scholarship in honor of Mrs. Pat Armstrong, the first lay principal of our school back in the late 1970s, who was in attendance with her husband Tom and their family. According to Fr. Tom, “The tremendous support for the youth of our parish is so inspiring and this year is no exception. It was wonderful to be at the event and see everyone having a nice time.”
We are humbled by the generous donations of time, talent, gifts, and monies to help support the youth of our parish. This event is a great example of strong and generous community found here at IHM.
With each raffle ticket, sponsorship, winning bid, and fund-a-need gift, we helped a family right here in our parish. Together, we raised about $80,000 for our youth! Half of these funds will provide tuition assistance for families who may not otherwise be able to send their children to our Blue Ribbon Day School. The remaining funds are used to help offset the costs of great faith-filled experiences for the middle and high school youth group plus they will help to provide tuition assistance for the Parish Religion Program (PRP). Your generosity of time, talent and treasure made this possible. We look forward to seeing you at the Winter Gala next year.
