Childcare

CHILDCARE IS CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE DUE TO THE LACK OF WORKERS!

If you know anyone that is 18 years of age or older who is interested in providing childcare (a paid position) please have them send a letter of interest to [email protected].

 

The Childcare Ministry is overseen by the Childcare Coordinator (who reports to the Parish Business Manager, Joan Cardone) and is staffed by paid childcare workers. All childcare workers are in compliance with the Archdiocesan Decree on Child Protection meaning that are current with SafeParish and have a current background check.

 

When is Childcare offered and what ages are permitted?

The Childcare Ministry provides a service to parents/guardians who wish to attend the 9:30 or 11:30 a.m. Mass on Sunday. It is open to children age 1 and walking through age 3.

Childcare is also offered throughout the year while certain parish events are taking place. The event will advertise if childcare is offered. These childcare services held during the week are open to children age 1 and walking through 6 years of age.

 

Where is Childcare Held?

Childcare is held in the Parish Welcome Center on the 1st floor behind the library in the St. Gabriel room. Drop off time is 15 minutes before the Mass or parish event. Please bring your own diaper bag and supplies.

 

How do I sign up for Childcare?

Any family wishing to use the services of the Childcare Ministry must complete a Registration Form and a Medical/Health/Special Needs Form for each child. (Forms to the right) One parent MUST remain on the parish property while their child/children are in our care and must be easily contacted by cell phone. You will then sign up through SignUp Genius once all forms are complete.

 

How do I arrange for childcare for my Parish Event?

If you are hosting an event on campus and would like childcare to be offered contact the childcare coordinator by emailing [email protected]. There is an approval process that takes place for additional childcare functions. Depending on the event there may be additional fees charged. It is recommended that requests be made 6 weeks before the event is to take place.
