Join us for our “Fall Series for Growing in Faith!” starting with dinner at 6 p.m. in the cafeteria followed by a program in Heritage Hall that will end at 8 p.m. The cost for each evening is a good will donation to cover the cost of food.
- Thursday, October 11th—Growing in Faith Through Prayer
After dinner, Donna Wenstrup will guide you in a prayer experience based on Lectio Divina: a wonderful way to hear God’s still small voice talking to you in your life circumstances right now! When shared together as a family, it allows you to hear how your children are responding to God’s love! After this evening, you will have a template for encountering Christ through Lectio prayer that can be used for any scripture passage!
- Wednesday, October 24th—Growing in Faith Through Discernment
After dinner, Deacon Mike Cassani will lead teens and adults in a discussion on discernment—the only truly effective process to make significant, life-impacting decisions. Children ages 6–12 will meet with Nicolette Chmiel in a classroom, so they can also learn how to make good choices. This evening will give you an understanding of the process to make these life decisions wisely.
- Tuesday, November 27th—Growing in Faith During Advent
Grab dinner and relax with a Family Movie Night watching The Star! This will get us in the mood for Advent, and you may take home Advent Booklets for children. Advent Wreath kits will be available for sale for $10. Please indicate on registration that you would like one, so we know how many to order. Advent Wreath orders are due November 13.
For children age 1 and walking up to age 5, we will offer babysitting. Please register for babysitting a few days ahead of time.
