Fair Trade
Fair Trade is a trading partnership based on dialogue, transparency and respect. It seeks to give small farmers in developing countries an opportunity to make a living from the products they grow. It contributes to sustainable development by offering better trading conditions and securing the rights of these producers and workers, especially in the global South.
At IHM we sell Fair Trade products in the Gathering Space after the 5:00 PM mass on Saturday and the 9:30 and 11:30 masses on Sunday on the second weekend of every month. If you wish to purchase Fair Trade products at any other time, please contact Jim Burridge.
We offer a variety of products: five different coffees in both ground and whole bean form, K-Cups (Breakfast Blend and Decaf), Palestinian Olive Oil, hot cocoa and two kinds of chocolate bars.
