Part of our vision is to be a servant to others, expecting nothing in return. One way we do this is by actively serving members of our community in need.Blood Drive
Sponsored by the Knights of Columbus, twice a year the Hoxworth Blood Center is here at IHM for people who wish to donate whole blood for people in need of transfusions. Each donation you provide confirms you as a contributor to patient care at area hospitals.

There are times in which members of our community find themselves unemployed or underemployed, times in which the support of our family of faith is needed and appreciated. A packet of resources has been prepared by members of Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish, for parishioners who find themselves in such situations. This packet is available in the parish office, or by signing up at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/IHOMAESOP/.
Support Group meetings are the 2nd and 4th Thursday night at 7 p.m., locations are posted in the calendar on the website. First time members are encouraged to come at 6:30 p.m. for new member initiation.

Interfaith Hospitality Network offers the opportunities for families to cook a meal, prepare breakfast, stay overnight at Anderson Hills Methodist Church while working with the homeless families who come every six weeks. Six to eight people are needed to serve dinner at the City Gospel Mission on the 3rd Wednesday of each month from 7-8:30 p.m. At the Walnut Hills Soup Kitchen, we provide the food for 200 meals, serve the people and clean-up on the 4th Sunday of Feb., April, August, and October.
